Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Implement new manufacturing methods and equipment to enhance efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
• Manage supplier relationships and source external vendors
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of engineering project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in project management or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma certification)
• Extensive experience in specific manufacturing or engineering domains
• Advanced technical skills in managing complex projects and process optimization
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and industry quality regulations
