Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for assigned projects, ensuring successful completion by coordinating with various stakeholders and functional experts
• Manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously through different stages, from pre-Gate 3 to closeout
• Develop and implement execution plans, including contracting and procurement strategies
• Identify project issues and execute appropriate actions, including formal change management
• Support procurement activities, contractor administration, and project turnover to site
• Travel to field sites in the Delaware Basin weekly for tasks such as brownfield verification, constructability reviews, and site issues management

Requirements

• Engineering degree required
• Demonstrated technical and/or leadership capability
• Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to analyze and discuss complex concepts effectively
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to the success of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-15 years of professional experience
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Proven leadership experience
• Background in Project Management (construction and project engineering)
• Military experience
