Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure alignment with design, timelines, and budget
• Monitor quality of finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, and interior fit-outs
• Collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and safety protocols
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Support procurement and material planning for finishing works
• Attend site meetings and provide input on project planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a contracting company
• Hands-on experience in site execution and finishing works
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Ghana or other African countries
