Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, execute, and close high-impact capital investment (CAPEX) projects for the Sahagún plant.
• Elaborate project scopes, DTIs, layouts, and engineering diagrams.
• Develop or manage the procurement of basic and detailed engineering.
• Administer CAPEX budgets, control expenses, and ensure compliance against the financial plan.
• Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and payments within SAP.
• Supervise civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control works on-site.
• Manage and supervise contractors (ranging from 10–50 people).
• Coordinate with internal departments including maintenance, production, quality, safety, and finance.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, engineering, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in capital project management within an industrial setting.
• Proven experience in basic and detailed engineering, construction supervision, and contractor management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (intermediate), MS Project, and SAP (basic).
• English proficiency at a B2/C1 level is indispensable.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work under pressure.
