Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Process and maintain subcontractor and vendor submittals
• Assist with subcontractor invoicing, billing entry, and payment tracking
• Support the preparation and management of change orders
• Attend project meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes
• Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems
• Assist Project Managers with scheduling, procurement, and project coordination
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in multifamily construction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of construction documents, plans, and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Experience with construction management software platforms
• Knowledge of project scheduling and construction accounting processes
