Project Engineer EPS

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining the technical concept of the system alongside specialists to ensure compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.
• Plan and monitor the execution of all activities for the Electrical Auxiliary Systems (EPS) through detailed scheduling and work breakdown structures.
• Optimize and update system quantities and costs through monthly progress tracking to ensure planned targets and results are met.
• Control and document cost, planning, and quality deviations in technical reports to alert Project and Commercial Managers for corrective actions.
• Monitor overall system progress by analyzing supplier and procurement reports and validating production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with electrical panel projects.
• Knowledge of Electrical Auxiliary Systems equipment (panels, transformers, cubicles, inverters, rectifiers, busbars, generator breakers).
• Experience with short-circuit, selectivity, and insulation coordination studies.
• Advanced English and intermediate Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge using EPLAN.
