Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collect and clarify technical requirements from stakeholders to guide design work
• Develop design concepts, 3D models, and 2D drawings using Creo 9
• Perform engineering calculations to validate product integrity and performance
• Conduct self-reviews and participate in internal technical design reviews
• Suggest value additions and process improvements to enhance manufacturability
• Engage with customers to address technical queries and incorporate feedback
• Manage project timelines and deliverables in accordance with internal guidelines

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of engineering experience in the heavy engineering or product development sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE / BTech)
• Proficiency in Creo 9 CAD software
• Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, hydraulics, and engineering materials
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Practical understanding of structural design principles for heavy machinery
