Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts using 2D drawings and advanced 3D modeling techniques
• Perform comprehensive engineering calculations to validate design integrity and functionality
• Gather and analyze input data essential to project assignments
• Proactively suggest value additions for product design, manufacturing methods, and material usage
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to address queries and provide updates
• Adhere to company design procedures, standards, and project management protocols
• Report progress and challenges to the Manager or Project Leader promptly

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in heavy engineering and product development
• BE/BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong academic record (70% or 7.5 CGPA minimum)
• Expertise in hydraulics, structural design, mechanism design, and engineering materials
• Proficiency in using Creo 9 for detailed design
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM tools
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including GD&T and tolerance analysis
