Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support core business initiatives including lift rigging design, lift planning, equipment sea fastening design, and installation analyses
• Ensure successful completion of assigned project phases within budgeted time and cost constraints
• Develop innovative solutions to client problems and support business development/tendering activities
• Promote HSEQ culture to minimize risk to personnel, environment, and equipment
• Encourage open communication between engineering and operations
• Perform offshore work as required

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Ocean & Naval Architecture, Structural, or equivalent engineering field
• 3-7 years of subsea project or installation engineering experience
• Experience with offshore ROV construction procedural writing
• Experience in equipment System Integration Testing and functionality testing
• Experience performing project vessel mobilizations and demobilizations
• Offshore field experience related to installation and decommissioning of subsea infrastructure
• Knowledge of DNV lifting and underwater deployment/recovery codes
• Professional Engineering licence (or working towards it)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Survival Training (BST)
• Knowledge of specialized software such as Ansys, Inventor, or Orcaflex
• Analytical capabilities for lowering analyses and rigging design
• Knowledge of sea fastening design and analysis
