About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support advanced reactor programs by managing the design, testing, and integration of mechanical assemblies and control systems
  • Perform software and hardware requirements capture and facilitate cross-functional communication
  • Provide technical input for project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments
  • Ensure engineering work complies with industry codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure system designs meet regulatory and technical specifications
  • Track engineering deliverables to maintain project schedules and budgets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of engineering experience involving design, analysis, testing, or system implementation
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead technical decisions
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the nuclear industry or another highly regulated environment
  • Experience with analog and digital electronic circuits
  • Experience with data acquisition systems, servers, networks, or AC/DC wiring
  • Familiarity with formal testing, automated testing, and software/hardware integration
  • Experience developing proposals and bidding for projects
