About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support advanced reactor programs by managing the design, testing, and integration of mechanical assemblies and control systems
- Perform software and hardware requirements capture and facilitate cross-functional communication
- Provide technical input for project schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments
- Ensure engineering work complies with industry codes, standards, and project requirements
- Coordinate with customers to ensure system designs meet regulatory and technical specifications
- Track engineering deliverables to maintain project schedules and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of engineering experience involving design, analysis, testing, or system implementation
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead technical decisions
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the nuclear industry or another highly regulated environment
- Experience with analog and digital electronic circuits
- Experience with data acquisition systems, servers, networks, or AC/DC wiring
- Familiarity with formal testing, automated testing, and software/hardware integration
- Experience developing proposals and bidding for projects
