Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to gather requirements and create estimates
• Collaborate on design with customers and internal manufacturing personnel
• Lead multi-departmental project planning and design review meetings
• Generate CAD, drawings, and production support documentation like ply kits and lamination instructions
• Specify required materials and generate Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Define and maintain project timelines and monitor project costs
• Provide manufacturing support

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or a related Engineering field
• 6+ years of experience in composite component design and manufacturing
• High-level proficiency in SolidWorks or similar solid and surface modeling software
• Experience in mold design, DFM, fixturing, and work instruction development
• Strong project management skills including scoping and scheduling
• Familiarity with ERP systems, workflows, and ISO/AS environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status due to export control laws
