Project Engineer, Complete Vehicle Durability

Responsibilities

• Manage testing and development activities for Complete Vehicle Durability
• Organize and manage test plans, vehicle samples, and test parts
• Ensure test activities follow procedures, test books, and industry standards
• Oversee project stakeholders and provide technical guidance
• Conduct test activities in proving grounds, labs, and on public roads
• Collect and analyze test data using specific software and analysis tools
• Generate technical reports aligned with customer expectations and quality standards
• Participate in project meetings with customers and suppliers
• Provide manual support for vehicle preparation and driving when required

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Automotive technical knowledge of vehicle component functions
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mandatory overtime and weekends
• Willingness to travel locally or internationally
• Physical ability to support test preparation in outdoor environments
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering software
• Experience with data acquisition instrumentation
• Experience with objective vehicle testing
