Project Engineer, Complete Vehicle Durability

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct execution of technical projects and manage test plans
• Organize and manage test samples including vehicles and test parts
• Perform test activities including preparation, execution, and analysis in accordance with industry standards
• Oversee project stakeholders and provide technical guidance
• Conduct test activities in proving grounds, labs, and on public roads
• Collect and analyze test data using specific software and analysis tools
• Generate technical reports aligned with customer expectations and quality standards
• Manage communications with customers and relevant stakeholders
• Provide manual support for vehicle preparation and driving when required

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Automotive technical knowledge of vehicle component functions and behavior
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mandatory overtime and weekends
• Willingness to travel locally or internationally
• Physical ability to support test preparation in outdoor environments and lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering software
• Experience with data acquisition instrumentation
• Experience with objective vehicle testing
