Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects and work packages from initiation through completion.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, actions, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Serve as the primary focal point between Engineering, Program Management, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering activities related to product development, sustaining engineering, and technical issue resolution.
• Support and monitor Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Design Change Requests (DCRs).
• Facilitate project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Track project performance, resource utilization, and key milestones while preparing management reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve project execution and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or engineering operations.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience supporting engineering change management processes (ECR, ECO, DCR, QN).
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering services industry.
• Familiarity with engineering lifecycle and configuration management processes.
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Teamcenter, SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI, or Tableau.
• PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification is a plus.
• Experience working with global customers, suppliers, and cross-site engineering teams.
