Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist one or more project managers within road construction projects
• Support planning, administration, and follow-up regarding time, cost, content, risks, resources, quality, safety, environment, and work environment
• Facilitate internal and external contacts for the project manager
• Participate in meetings with consultants and contractors
• Prepare documentation for monitoring contractor deliveries
• Propose decisions on actions, alternatives, and resource utilization within the project framework
• Ensure work is carried out according to laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal processes
• Transfer knowledge to the client's employees regarding performed tasks

Requirements

• Academic education in a technical field (at least 120 credits in economics, technology, or construction)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction projects as a project engineer, contractor engineer, project coordinator, or project economist
• At least 2 of those 5 years must be consecutive in a single assignment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, scheduling, and financial management in projects
• Valid driver's license for passenger cars
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV (at least level 2.2)
