Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and support HVAC cooling system engineering programs from concept through validation and release
• Develop comprehensive program plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation
• Maintain system-level engineering plans, technical deliverables, and design milestones
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to cooling performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost
• Define and track engineering KPIs such as efficiency, reliability, and validation status
• Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, safety standards, and internal engineering processes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cooling system design practices and tools

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in HVAC Light commercial, VRF, or Residential New Product Development (NPD)
• Proven experience in cooling system design, including inverter systems, heat exchangers, and refrigeration cycle balancing
• Strong knowledge of standard frameworks for HVAC products, including BIS, ISO, BEE, and IEC
• Proficiency in design software such as ProE, Creo, or AutoCAD
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, FMEA, and Quality systems
• Experience with ECR/ECIN processes and model-based design simulation tools
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams
