Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and compile claims, variations, valuations, and cost reviews
• Assist the Area Manager with project programming
• Award subcontract agreements and manage material purchases in line with project requirements
• Collaborate with the project team, field leadership, contractors, and suppliers
• Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure safety, environmental, and design compliance
• Mentor Site Engineers and Graduates to solve complex technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil land development or infrastructure projects
• Proven ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, procedures, and WH&S laws
• Demonstrated experience driving HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality) outcomes
• Strong time management and communication skills to meet project deadlines
