About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects including scope of work development
- Ensure technical accuracy of project documents, RFQs, commissioning procedures, and O&M Manuals
- Manage the DMS system including RFIs and NCRs
- Coordinate engineering efforts to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes
- Serve as the primary engineering representative to clients on technical issues
- Lead meetings with clients, consulting engineers, and equipment suppliers
- Secure technical resources and partner with project teams to develop design plans
- Manage engineering project hours, scheduled activities, and subcontractor deliverables
- Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience in an engineering lead design position on fossil fuel utility power plants or power projects
- Experience in engineering management or design/build project coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Primavera (P6v7)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
