Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of a project from award through installation and completion
• Review project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness
• Develop engineering and architectural drawings, calculations, and acoustical modeling
• Test audio DSP or video processing systems software required for system functionality
• Provide engineering support and DSP system programming support to installation teams
• Provide technical oversight on commissioning of systems both in-house and on-site
• Design wall plates and overlays
• Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed
• Review field and shop red-line drawings and revise to as-built status
• Assist Project Manager in monitoring project budget and providing weekly updates

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to program, change and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron systems
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment
• Advanced computer skills for design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
• Ability to travel to various job sites
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal education in Electronics or a related field
• Minimum of two years of AV experience
• Four year degree or military experience in lieu of direct job experience
