Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from post-order to final delivery, ensuring technical compliance and timely execution.
• Act as the single point of contact between Avanceon and the client, arranging Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) and progress reviews.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments, sub-vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop engineering deliverables according to project specifications and client requirements.
• Monitor project execution to identify risks or opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Review sub-vendor offers and provide delivery recommendations to the procurement department.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and manage the closure of punch points to secure Inspection Release Notes (IRN).
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B.TECH) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically handling projects from post-order through to delivery.
• Ability to read skid GA drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in reading equipment, piping, electrical, and instrumentation symbols as per IEC and ISA standards.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of international standards for pumps, tanks, piping, and valves.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with chemical dosing packages, water treatment packages, or Oil & Gas skid packages.
• Exposure to specifications from major energy companies such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, PDO, Shell, or QE.
