Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, wiring, and termination of PLC/SCADA panels, RTUs, and communication networks.
• Oversee electrical works including MCCs, VFDs, power cables, and grounding systems.
• Lead the installation and commissioning of Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) systems, including probe calibration and level validation.
• Direct control teams during critical testing phases such as I/O checks, logic validation, and interlock testing.
• Manage daily site activities, manpower deployment, and resource allocation for technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, and QA/QC requirements.
• Manage the closure of punch lists, test reports, and commissioning documentation for final customer handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in automation, PLC/SCADA systems, and industrial electrical execution.
• Proven experience with ATG (Automatic Tank Gauging) installations and commissioning.
• Strong technical ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, GA drawings, P&IDs, and loop sheets.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, loop checks, and MCC/VFD systems.
• Experience in oil & gas terminals, utilities, or industrial bulk handling automation is highly preferred.
