Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the estimating process, including pre-bids, quantity take-offs, and sub-bid solicitations
• Develop and update master and short interval schedules for project control
• Provide weekly submission of quantities installed for productivity reporting
• Complete document control procedures and manage submittal packages with shop drawings
• Compile and track material status logs and project punch lists
• Review weekly productivity reports and suggest improvements to Project Managers
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, and equipment
• Assist with financial management, including change orders and material invoices
• Support project closeout requirements and "As Built" drawings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Willingness to travel or relocate for extended periods on a project basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BIM and Bluebeam
• OSHA 30 hour certification
