About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide field service support for White Liquor Plant (WLP) equipment, including lime kiln diagnostics, alignments, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop expertise in analysis tools and software used for kiln diagnostics.
- Collaborate with customers to identify, justify, and develop upgrade and service projects.
- Partner with Service Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Manage labor crews for turnkey shutdown services and provide advisory field support.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, overseeing schedules, budgets, and quality control.
- Build effective working relationships with global product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent), or 3+ years of relevant experience in equipment design, project execution, or mill operations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability and willingness to travel 25–50% within the U.S. and Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lime kilns or recausticizing systems.
- Design or drafting experience using AutoCAD.
