Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development, engineering, and execution of thermal power and renewable energy projects
• Prepare conceptual engineering designs, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations
• Assist in the preparation and review of engineering deliverables including layouts and technical specifications
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and equipment suppliers
• Support technical due diligence, Owner's Engineer (OE), Independent Engineer (IE), and Lender's Engineer assignments
• Monitor project progress, engineering quality, schedules, and technical risks
• Participate in site visits, factory inspections, and commissioning testing
• Review contractor submissions, technical documentation, and as-built documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in thermal power plant engineering or project execution
• Proven experience in gas engines and combined cycle power projects preferred
• Exposure to renewable energy (WtE, solar PV, BESS) is an advantage
• Understanding of international standards and codes for power projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project support
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
