Project Director - Utilities

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-departmental teams in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of infrastructure and utility works for a new entertainment resort complex.
• Manage the execution of enabling infrastructure including mass grading, water management, utility supplies, and central energy plants.
• Coordinate with UK utility statutory undertakers to align works with project schedules, budgets, and contractor phasing.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and financial planning to ensure delivery within targeted objectives.
• Direct all aspects of enabling works, including procurement, stakeholder engagement, and document control (RFIs, submittals, and drawings).
• Provide leadership and professional development guidance to direct reports within the Universal Destinations & Experiences division.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project management, specifically within the infrastructure or commercial facilities industry.
• Extensive experience in the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of enabling infrastructure, including mass grading, water management, and utilities.
• Direct experience working with utility statutory undertakers in the UK.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of construction finances, including budgets, cash flow, and change orders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• SIA licensing and/or relevant executive security certifications.
• Experience in project scheduling, estimating, bidding processes, and contract negotiations.
