Project Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of projects from feasibility through to completed delivery for land and residential developments
• Own budget feasibility, financial modelling, and project controls across the full project lifecycle
• Define and implement preferred development strategies, including securing all required authority approvals
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Managers to determine product mix, delivery programming, and pricing strategy
• Engage and manage external consultants to ensure high-quality technical and development expertise
• Maintain strong relationships with internal BMD Group delivery partners to lead end-to-end development delivery

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Land Economics, Town Planning, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Urban Design
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in medium to large-scale urban projects
• Proven experience in project planning and navigating complex approval processes
• Demonstrated expertise in urban design and precinct planning
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent time management skills with a consistent ability to meet key deadlines
