Project Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale and complex data centre projects from feasibility through completion
• Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and large-scale budgets
• Establish and maintain effective project processes and systems
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance indicators
• Manage and mitigate project risks and issues
• Coordinate clients, contractors, and designers
• Prepare and deliver formal project communication and progress reports
• Provide thought leadership on Data Centre real estate trends and innovations

Requirements

• University Degree in engineering or a construction-related field
• Minimum 12 years of construction experience
• Proven track record delivering hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion
• Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels
• Strong knowledge of the construction industry and Data Centre sector
• Understanding of project lifecycle and business case approval processes
• Availability for on-site work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in master planning or strategic estate development
• Experience in capital project planning for business case compilation
• Relevant project management or construction management qualification
