Project Director

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel and workforce for various active projects
• Participate in the employee recruitment process
• Manage project budgets and financial performance
• Oversee and monitor health and safety programs on projects
• Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, the community, and employees
• Implement company leadership and cultural programs
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning
• Assist in preparing tenders and bids
• Manage operational project planning and schedule tracking
• Prepare and present monthly project performance reports
• Participate in human resources management
• Develop new clients and business partners
• Mentor and train project superintendents

Requirements

• Post-secondary studies in project management preferred
• 15 years of project management experience, preferably in the mining industry
• Mandatory experience in a mining environment
• Strong mentoring, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Willingness to work at any underground mine site where Technica operates
