Project Director

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the Project Management Office (PMO), including its strategy, structure, governance, and processes
• Oversee the Innovation Department, leading initiatives for organizational transformation and emerging technologies
• Develop and implement standardized project and innovation methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Collaborate with executive leadership and government stakeholders to align initiatives with national priorities
• Lead and mentor project managers and innovation teams to build a high-performance culture
• Oversee the full lifecycle of projects and innovation initiatives from ideation to implementation
• Establish governance structures such as Steering Committees and Innovation Boards
• Implement effective risk management practices and proactive mitigation planning
• Monitor performance using KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior management
• Represent the organization to government stakeholders and global consulting partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• 10–12 years of experience managing complex programs and projects
• Proven experience in government projects and national transformation initiatives
• Previous experience with top-tier global consulting firms (PwC, KPMG, EY, or Deloitte)
• Solid background in innovation management and emerging technologies
• Proficiency in project and innovation management tools
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work between Jeddah and Riyadh depending on business needs
