About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate personnel and resources for one or more construction projects
  • Lead pre-construction efforts and manage projects from inception through close-out
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of construction plans and project goals
  • Prepare trade contracts, bid packages, and oversee the procurement process
  • Oversee shop drawings, submittals, and construction coordination
  • Monitor project performance including schedule, cost control, and change management
  • Maintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Oversee site safety programs and develop site logistics plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 15+ years of construction experience
  • Working knowledge of union agreements, cost control, and scheduling
  • Thorough understanding of the New York Metro market
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate
  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Timberline
