About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate personnel and resources for one or more construction projects
- Lead pre-construction efforts and manage projects from inception through close-out
- Oversee the preparation and execution of construction plans and project goals
- Prepare trade contracts, bid packages, and oversee the procurement process
- Oversee shop drawings, submittals, and construction coordination
- Monitor project performance including schedule, cost control, and change management
- Maintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
- Oversee site safety programs and develop site logistics plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of construction experience
- Working knowledge of union agreements, cost control, and scheduling
- Thorough understanding of the New York Metro market
- 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Timberline
