Project Director

Responsibilities

• Lead through servant leadership and promote company mission and values
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders, staff, partners, and employers
• Set operational strategy considering funder and organizational needs
• Manage fiscal operations, including budget forecasting and contract investment
• Oversee human resources including hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with contractual, local, federal, and state requirements
• Perform quality assurance and quality monitoring to ensure excellent customer experience
• Participate in business development and contract rebid activities

Requirements

• BS/BA in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of operational leadership and program management experience
• Experience managing multiple departments or teams with direct responsibility to executive leadership
• Fiscal and financial management experience, including grant or contract oversight
• Proven ability to manage contractual relationships
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Valid driver's license and liability insurance
• Ability to travel within Bergen County, NJ and to conferences

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of operational oversight in workforce development or human services
• Experience in public speaking
• Workforce Development industry experience
