Project Director - Earthwork and Utilities

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-departmental teams in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of infrastructure for the Entertainment Resort Complex (ERC).
• Manage enabling works including mass grading, water management, environmental mitigation, and utility supplies.
• Coordinate with UK utility statutory undertakers to align works with project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and financial planning to ensure delivery within target objectives.
• Direct field operations and ensure strict adherence to project procedures, including RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Provide leadership and professional development guidance to direct reports within Universal Destinations & Experiences.
• Maintain high standards of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project management and infrastructure delivery.
• Deep knowledge of enabling infrastructure, specifically mass grading, water management, and utilities.
• Experience working with utility statutory undertakers in the UK.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Strong ability to interpret design and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating between multiple stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

• SIA licensing and/or relevant executive security certifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Microsoft Planner.
