About the role
Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in interfacing with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants
- Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting final estimates
- Perform all aspects of procurement, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and compiling contractual documents
- Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Manage cost checks and carry out payment recommendations
- Produce and present monthly cost reports to clients
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost management
- Broad experience in planning, estimating, pre-contract, post-contract, and final account
- Experience with value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
- Understanding of labor, plant, materials, cashflow, and commitments
- Experience with business development
- Proficiency in MS Office and modern cost management digital tools
- English fluency required; Spanish language skills preferred
