Project Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated project teams through early project stages (FEL2/3) with accountability for safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance
• Set key Gate dates and develop plans to support project goals and timelines while aligning with operational constraints
• Ensure stakeholder alignment on project objectives, concept selection, overall schedule, and value delivery
• Drive concept selection and optimization activities in partnership with Senior Technical Leads
• Monitor and appraise contractor execution against plans and specifications, developing improvement plans to close performance gaps
• Manage development phase budgets and steward project, functional, and business support to ensure timely completion of reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Demonstrated technical and/or leadership capability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze and discuss complex concepts effectively
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute to team success

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-15 years of professional experience
• Experience within the Oil & Gas industry
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience in Project Management, specifically in construction and project engineering
