About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the formulation of project proposals using logical frameworks, results matrices, and Gantt charts
- Develop and review detailed project budgets using donor templates and internal financial tools
- Monitor project implementation, timelines, milestones, and results using monitoring tools
- Assist in the preparation of technical and financial reports based on donor templates
- Monitor commitments, action points, and follow-up measures with internal teams and partners
- Support the identification and mitigation of risks during project formulation and implementation
- Align projects with institutional policies, procedures, and donor requirements
Requirements
- Degree in International Development, Economics, Social Sciences, Project Management, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience in resource mobilization and fundraising for NGOs or international organizations
- Proven track record in drafting technical proposals for donors like GAC, USAID, EU, or UN agencies
- Experience in financial planning and budgeting for complex projects
- Advanced Spanish proficiency (Level 4)
- Certified knowledge of results-based management (RBM), logical framework approach, and theory of change
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate studies or certifications in International Cooperation, Grant Writing, or Public Policy
- Experience building networks and strategic partnerships with stakeholders and private sector donors
