About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of global Crude Trading transformation initiatives, including business growth and new market entry.
- Manage and govern complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Commercial teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Apply rigorous project management disciplines to deliver commitments within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Partner with VPs and Regional Trading Managers to shape delivery plans that support future-state business visions.
- Develop and embed effective communication and change management strategies to drive sustained business adoption.
- Lead and manage a team of four to provide project delivery, prioritization, and decision support.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management or process leadership involving strategic project deliveries through the full lifecycle.
- Experience in team management and leading people.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Qlik.
- Knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems and SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience within Trading & Supply (T&S) environments.
- Working knowledge of carbon management frameworks and regulatory reporting (e.g., UK ETS, EU ETS).
- Ability to leverage AI to drive efficiency and creativity in project work.
