About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and ongoing development for the School of Social Work internship database.
  • Support the internship team by managing data collection for program evaluation and accreditation compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the internship data management program, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to maintain the integrity of the online database.
  • Lead program evaluation and survey design, including prioritizing key metrics for assessment.
  • Collaborate with University IT and database platform support to resolve software glitches and technical issues.
  • Provide application support and training to all database stakeholders, including students, coordinators, and supervisors.
  • Manage and respond to data requests related to grants and program reaffirmation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or social science field.
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with data management systems and overseeing data integrity.
  • Strong skills in research design, survey research, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical results to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in social work settings.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS or SAS.
  • Experience with academic program review or assessment of student learning.
  • Familiarity with the Sonia Online database.
