About the role
Responsibilities
- Set-up and control of cost reports, maintaining consistency across project portfolios for Capex and Opex costs
- Analyze and integrate cost estimates and forecasts from contractors and suppliers
- Document and communicate the probability of changes to the business
- Oversee invoice processing to ensure timely submission for payment
- Review cost impacts of changes and incorporate them into project control budgets and forecasts
- Develop, monitor, and maintain Monthly Project Cost Reports
- Handle ad hoc requests for data analysis and presentation materials
- Provide assistance to other Cost Controllers as required
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent
- RICS membership or equivalent
- Experience in cost engineering within Industrial, Manufacturing, Life Science, or Oil & Gas sectors
- Experience in team cost controlling on large-scale projects preferred
- Demonstrated ability to balance and organize multiple projects or assignments
- Strong communication skills
