Project Cost Controller

Responsibilities

• Establish project expenses status and monitor operational expenses including make/buy investments and supplier costs
• Synthesize global project expenses by integrating FTE and validation means
• Build and update the Risks and Opportunities portfolio for expenses
• Define robust expense targets and propose action plans to stakeholders in Engineering and Sourcing
• Manage the project annual budget by monitoring actual expenditure against budget and establishing monthly forecasts
• Control and validate R&D and investment expense workflows
• Prepare project entry into mass production by compiling remaining expenses for the serial life team
• Perform lessons learned and formalize expense management rules

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience
• Strong mastery of financial consolidation, variance analysis, and reporting
• Proven experience in project development management and financial tracking
• Experience interfacing with technical organizations such as R&D and Engineering
• High level of rigor, financial discipline, and autonomy
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex financial issues
