About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tasks for projects and strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
  • Determine actionable items based on the review of applicable information and research
  • Draft presentation materials and program reports/summaries from collected data
  • Assign and check the work of work-study students
  • Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, materials, and follow-up items
  • Track program metrics to inform continuous service improvements
  • Implement plans and process improvements for project activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, including calendar management and file maintenance

Requirements

  • Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or an equivalent combination of experience
  • Minimum five years of experience in an administrative or project coordination role, preferably in a post-secondary setting
  • Experience supporting committee or governance activities, including documentation coordination
  • Experience supporting or coordinating arts-based programs, events, or initiatives
  • Experience with grant or funding proposal preparation and drafting supporting materials
  • Experience with program assessment, data collection, and basic reporting
  • Demonstrated experience working within anti-racist, Indigenous, and intercultural frameworks
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot), Asana, and Canva
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working within Indigenous communities with strong knowledge of Indigenous worldviews, culture, and values
