About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks for projects and strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Determine actionable items based on the review of applicable information and research
- Draft presentation materials and program reports/summaries from collected data
- Assign and check the work of work-study students
- Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, materials, and follow-up items
- Track program metrics to inform continuous service improvements
- Implement plans and process improvements for project activities
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Strategic Initiatives, including calendar management and file maintenance
Requirements
- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or an equivalent combination of experience
- Minimum five years of experience in an administrative or project coordination role, preferably in a post-secondary setting
- Experience supporting committee or governance activities, including documentation coordination
- Experience supporting or coordinating arts-based programs, events, or initiatives
- Experience with grant or funding proposal preparation and drafting supporting materials
- Experience with program assessment, data collection, and basic reporting
- Demonstrated experience working within anti-racist, Indigenous, and intercultural frameworks
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot), Asana, and Canva
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working within Indigenous communities with strong knowledge of Indigenous worldviews, culture, and values
