Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports, maps, plans, technical drawings, tests, and photographs for project planning and design
• Plan, prepare, and modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and environmental impact studies
• Review and contribute to the development of site plans and weekly work schedules
• Participate in daily line-up meetings and support supervisors as needed
• Manage and supervise all material movements from surface to underground
• Assist in the planning and coordination of subcontractor work
• Develop work methodologies and procedures in support of supervisors and project managers
• Ensure planned works have the required materials according to project specifications and site standards
• Willingness to work at remote sites

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the mining industry
• Post-secondary studies in mining engineering technology or a Bachelor's degree in mining engineering
• Experience in mining, industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Moss
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Willingness to undergo required pre-employment testing
• Openness to working at underground mine sites in the Sudbury region
