Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee on-site quality and containment activities
• Support mechanical rework operations and ensure adherence to specifications
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and inspectors to maintain workflow and resolve issues
• Ensure all project documentation, reports, and quality records are accurate and completed on time
• Assist with site launch activities, including setup, training, and process validation
• Provide direction and support to small teams to achieve project goals
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and height gages
• Maintain flexibility to meet production demands, including overtime and weekend work

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, containment, or supervisory roles
• Experience with mechanical rework and inspection processes
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and quality standards
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams
• Flexibility to travel and work varying hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering background or education
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in quality/containment or manufacturing environments in lieu of a degree
