About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and coordinate consortium (ACTC/ADCS) and industry clinical trials in neurodegenerative disease under the direction of the principal investigator.
  • Complete and maintain regulatory documentation and manage submissions for CUIMC and central IRBs.
  • Consent study participants according to GCP guidelines and ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Perform study-related data entry, chartings, and maintain source documents.
  • Execute clinical tasks including ECGs, vital signs, blood draws, and neuropsychological testing scales.
  • Recruit research participants via phone and in-person, explaining study protocols and scheduling visits.
  • Manage investigational products, research study samples, and participant reimbursements.
  • Serve as the primary ACTC Site Liaison, attending steering committee and monthly liaison meetings.
  • Maintain productive working relationships between sponsors, consortium staff, study monitors, and site staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical trials or related research experience.
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Certifications in various assessment scales (e.g., CDR, Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale, MoCA, MMSE, etc.).
