Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives and performance standards meet company policy and contract specifications
• Manage field reports, client submissions, and monthly invoice processing
• Create and review bi-weekly billing
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones while monitoring progress
• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings and verify as-built quantities
• Assist in preparing contracts and negotiating revisions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Support budget analysis, cost projections, and project change estimates
• Implement quality control programs and maintain customer/vendor relationships
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors, providing support to field staff
• Manage document control and purchase supplies/materials as required
• Coordinate purchase orders with the procurement team

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of Project Coordination experience in the construction sector (Streetlight/Utilities projects preferred)
• Proficient in contract management and construction scheduling
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical, mechanical, and structural designs
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Experience with JD Edwards or an Oracle-based ERP system
• Valid Ontario "G" Driver’s License
