Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall project performance, schedule, specifications, and budget
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors
• Assist in planning project schedules and monitoring progress against timelines
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company policies
• Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and databases
• Manage document control and support project reporting and data analysis
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality
• Prepare and track procurement documentation for Bill of Materials and invoices
• Support budget analysis, cost projections, and contract administration

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience as an Electrical or Civil Project Coordinator in construction
• Experience in utilities construction
• Knowledge of contract management and construction scheduling
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical/civil designs
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Experience with ERP applications (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle)
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Ability to travel to sites around Edmonton and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
• Red Seal Journeyman or Electrical Technologist Degree
• PMP designation
• Construction Safety Certifications (Ground Disturbance, First Aid, CSTS)
