About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing sampling and analysis activities in line with contractual requirements
  • Develop and maintain monthly and annual sampling plans to ensure all targets are achieved
  • Coordinate workloads for Sampling Technicians and Project Management support staff
  • Monitor sampling performance, reschedule missed events, and manage sample notifications
  • Maintain site information packs, risk assessments, and procedural documentation in compliance with UKAS and Quality requirements
  • Produce KPI reports and support regular client review meetings
  • Collate monthly data and generate invoices for client billing
  • Support induction planning for new starters and provide departmental cover when required

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with a professional and positive approach
  • Previous experience in project coordination, account management, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and analysing operational data
  • Experience working within Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to obtain satisfactory security clearance
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in environmental monitoring
