Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and construction work for nuclear infrastructure projects, specifically supporting the Turbine Generator Refurbishment at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
• Develop, maintain, and close Comprehensive Work Packages (CWPs) in collaboration with quality, construction, and engineering teams.
• Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, safety, and quality, and report on potential challenges.
• Assist in developing integrated, resource-loaded project schedules and monitor field installation against project plans.
• Act as a single point of contact between field trades and design engineers to resolve problems and ensure information flow.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk management plans, meeting minutes, action logs, and project trackers (RFI, CWP, etc.).
• Support cost monitoring, change management, and manpower coordination with trades and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in an equivalent role, ideally within an EPC or project engineering environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Primavera, AutoCAD, or SAP.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
