About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the accuracy and integrity of project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with Project and Construction Managers to draft white papers for project establishment and funding.
- Participate in monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews and provide in-depth variance analysis.
- Manage Estimates to Complete (ETCs), including change order proposals and task order requests.
- Conduct detailed analysis of cost variances, performance data, and trends to recommend corrective actions.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of budget and costs to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Work with scheduling teams to assess the impact of cash flow and schedule performance on project costs.
- Generate detailed financial and budget reports using systems such as Proliance and Deltek Costpoint.
- Oversee the review and approval process for contractor and consultant payment applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in program or project controls within a construction program.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience working through the entire project life cycle.
- Strong knowledge of earned value management, change management, forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to present complex data to management in an organized manner.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Proliance, E-Builder Data-Warehouse, or other large capital program systems.
- Previous experience working on educational facility construction projects.

- Salary Range: $122,000 - $127,000.
