Project Controls Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Support planning and scheduling activities for Direct Feed Low Activity Waste (DFLAW) outage windows
• Develop and maintain outage schedules and track progress during work execution
• Collect, analyze, and maintain schedule information from all disciplines and functional teams
• Identify schedule constraints and evaluate their impact on the overall project timeline
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure shared understanding of project dependencies
• Monitor and report on critical path and schedule performance
• Recommend alternatives for schedule improvement and lead the development of recovery plans when requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience
• Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience
• High school diploma plus 10 years of relevant experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Primavera P/6 or similar scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior scheduling experience on federal government or DOE/DOD site projects
• Proficiency in PowerBI and Visio
• Experience with process engineering projects or Waste Treatment Projects (WTP)
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
