About the role

Responsibilities

  • Generate periodic project controls analytics through data verification and validation to support key metrics.
  • Perform change control by tracking, trending, and initiating actions for changes to project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Lead benchmarking and self-assessment initiatives to identify improvement opportunities and adopt industry best practices.
  • Support Project Managers in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Perform variance, earned value, and critical path analyses to report on project status.
  • Create and maintain project estimates, ensuring all raw materials, labor rates, and equipment are accurately captured.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal customers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related field with 2 years of related work experience.
  • High School Diploma with 5 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in project management concepts and project controls principles.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software, financial tools, and spreadsheets.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software such as MS Project, MS Office Suite, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, Powerplant, Emax, or Peoplesoft.
  • Experience using risk management tools and performing Monte Carlo analysis.
